Susan Lee Bathgate Equity Compliance Investigator

Susan Lee Bathgate, JD joined JHU’s Office of Institutional Equity in August 2018 as an Equity Compliance Investigator. Prior to joining OIE, Susan managed a workplace violence prevention and response program at Johns Hopkins for three years, overseeing threat assessment cases for the University and Health System. As an attorney with a leading Maryland employment and labor law firm, Susan previously advised private and government employers on discrimination and harassment matters. She also has experience in employee and labor relations, as well as workplace mediation. Susan is a graduate the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and obtained her J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
