Mark Nelms Equity Compliance Investigator

Mark Nelms, JD joined the Office of Institutional Equity in June of 2019 as an Equity Compliance Investigator.  Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Mark worked as a civil rights and sexual misconduct investigator at the University of Maryland and as an Anti-Discrimination Officer at the Delaware Department of Labor.  Mark is also the former director of a pro bono Civil Legal Representation Project in Pennsylvania, where he represented clients in civil matters involving sexual assault and domestic violence.  Mark is a graduate of Florida State University and Delaware Law School.
