Alexa Murray Equity Compliance Investigator

Alexa Murray, JD joined JHU’s Office of Institutional Equity in June 2021 as an Equity Compliance Investigator. Prior to joining the university, Alexa served as an attorney for Baltimore City Public Schools, where she focused on special education, student-related, and labor and employment matters. Alexa also served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where she focused on resolving juvenile sex offense matters and identifying potential services available to offenders to reduce recidivism. Alexa obtained her B.A. in Communications from Howard University and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law.  Alexa is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
